While so many celebs are signing off Twitter for charity, media mogul and reality star Russell Simmons is turning to Twitter for his latest charity event.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Dec. 7, the more often fans tweet #RunningRussell, the more money that Oxygen -- home of Simmons' reality show Running Russell Simmons -- will donate to Simmons' organization, The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, which supports arts programs for disadvantaged youth.
The foundation will also be featured on Tuesday's Running Russell Simmons finale (10 p.m. ET), in which Simmons tries to get attendees -- like John Legend, Alicia Keys' new husband Swizz Beatz and Donna Karan -- at his charity event, Art for Life, to donate $1 million to the cause. Of course, as the Oxygen show is really about the women who run the Simmons empire, viewers will also find out which of his employees can really handle the pressure and if the interns finally get the full-time positions they've been hoping for.
