Much like Britney Spears, when it comes to videos, Jason Derülo is a proud member of the people-who-love-to-dance club. In the video for his new single, "Don't Wanna Go Home," Derülo throws a mega-dance party. We visited the set of the Rich Lee-directed clip where the singer told us he wants fans to feel as if they've been invited to his underground dance fiesta.

"I'm very hands on with everything that I do, and I wrote 'Don't Wanna Go Home,' and I wanted to write a video right after I finished doing the song 'cause I actually saw it [in my mind], what this video is about," Derülo told us. "Basically, [it's] not about going to the club, [it's about] never leaving the club." The clip features "these creatures who can't get enough of this amazing party," he continued. "But it's not a club — it's a warehouse and we live here.

"This one was very vivid for me. I wrote a treatment and Rich Lee took my treatment and expanded upon it. I'm through the roof. You'll see a lot: more dancing, a lot more sex appeal," he said. "We're taking it there."

"Don't Wanna Go Home" is the lead single from Derülo's upcoming Future History and he said the song was sonically inspired by Robyn's retro hit "Show Me Love." "I wanted to write a song that people could escape their problems, their pain, their turmoil, and by doing a feel-good song, I'm doing just that. You don't have to write a song about saving the world to do just that. We created this new age party-smasher."
